Our Unique & Innovative Programs
You’re probably here for one of two reasons.
Either a dentist or orthodontist told you your child needs myofunctional therapy and you want to know what you’re signing up for — or you’ve spent months, maybe years, trying to figure out why you’re so exhausted, and this is the next thread you’re pulling.
Either way, you want a straight answer about cost before you go further. Good. Here it is.
Every client starts the same way: with a comprehensive exam. It’s how we figure out exactly what’s going on before anyone talks about a program. From there, you’re matched to the option that fits your situation and your budget — and you’ll always know the exact number before you commit to anything.
What is the cost of myofunctional therapy?
At Impact Myofunctional Therapy, every client begins with a comprehensive virtual exam. From there, ongoing therapy programs are priced “from” a starting point and vary based on the program you choose, which provider you work with, and whether more than one family member is enrolling.
One-on-one programs start from $3,000, a shorter hybrid option starts from $2,000, and a self-paced video program starts from $597. You’ll receive an exact offer after your exam — no surprises, no pressure. Because we’re fully virtual, you can work with us from anywhere.
Why every client starts with an exam
We don’t guess, and we don’t hand out generic advice. Before we ever talk about a program, we need to see what’s actually going on — your breathing, your oral function, your sleep history, the whole picture.
That’s what the comprehensive exam is for. It’s a 60-minute virtual appointment with Carmen, and afterward you receive a written Findings & Recommendations Report and an offer for a spot in the program that fits you. Your spot is held for one week.

This is the Unique Myofunctional Experience, and it’s not standard in this field. Most practices charge by the hour and send you home. We stay in it with you.
Insurance, HSA & FSA
Impact Myofunctional Therapy doesn’t bill insurance directly. Many clients pay using their HSA or FSA funds, and we provide a superbill on request so you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Whether your plan reimburses is up to your insurer, but we make the paperwork easy.
Can’t I just do the free YouTube exercises?
You can find plenty of tongue exercises online — and if generic videos were enough, you’d already be sleeping better. The reason they usually don’t work is that they’re not built for you. The right exercises, in the right order, adjusted as your body responds — that’s what actually moves the needle. That’s what you’re paying for, and it’s why we start with an exam instead of a guess.
Ready for a straight answer?
Stop chasing solutions that don’t stick. One exam tells you what’s actually going on and exactly what to do about it.
